I started doing the Diva Challenge a few weeks ago and I'm hooked.
Here's my entry for the new tangle pattern called "Quandary." The
challenge is on the right side of my blog. All you do is click the
button and it will take you to her website. She posts a Zentangle
challenge every week.
Congratulations on your blog Monica! Your tangling shows creative passion and lovely delights.
ReplyDeleteThanks Shelly!! I checked out your blog, and I would LOVE to learn how to make such perfect lines on your first try. Most of mine I go over aT LEAST one more time....which makes a lot of my lines thick unfortunately. I need to work on that. But that you for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteThis tile is fantastic! I love your shading. It looks like it is coming off the paper.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful depth, becaus of the black background. Even the shape of the quandary has great shading. I like it very much!
ReplyDeleteStunningly beautiful! I am so glad you are hooked!
ReplyDeleteThis really caught my attention. The more I look at it the more I appreciate it. Starting with the great "String" (you should send it to tanglepatterns.com for inclusion in the strings section) then the way the leafs overlap and finally the deeply shaded background giving it all great depth. I love it.
ReplyDeleteI love the subtle texture and wonderful shading. Very effective!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work - I love that you've piled up a pile of Quandary "petals" filled with Quandry and the Slainte is the perfect counterpoint!
ReplyDeleteI am floored by everyones wonderful comments. Would love tipson how to improve my skills...so please please let me know what I can do to better my shading or lines etc. but thank you all! ! !
ReplyDeleteMonica, this is a great tile! Your Quandary is beautiful. Welcome to the world of hooked people :-)
ReplyDeleteReally nice, it's almost as if the Quandary is in a loose Phicopspattern.
ReplyDeleteWow, your tile is beautiful, love how you made your string from the lines of Quandry. You don't need to worry about your shading, you did an awesome job.
ReplyDeleteWonderful job! I really like your take on this challenge.
ReplyDeleteDid I mention this was my FIRST attempt at this new tangle? no crumpled up tries in the trash! Normally I fudge up a little on the first try, but not this time. I was pretty proud of that.
